Apple's system would also include other elements common to current bike computers such as information on the rider's distance, speed, and cadence. Additionally, it would allow for integration with devices like heart rate monitors and the ability to compare yourself with others' riding characteristics, which is great for forming a group or determining if a route is right for your level.
